How do you break the mold of standard press preview days? Subaru Canada posed this question to the team at 7 Communications, and what resulted was pure, snowy f...un set in a winter wonderland . The team at 7 Communications developed an event concept that got automotive media and social influencers behind the wheel of the all new Subaru 2020 fleet in the most challenging conditions to showcase the true performance of 2020 Subaru models. Have you heard the saying ‘Subaru’s come alive in the wintertime’? We worked off this exact notion and created three drive experiences that put the Subaru fleet to the test in harsh, snowy, cold Canadian winter conditions. While we can’t take credit for the perfect gentle snowfall throughout the day, what we did do is create an unforgettable day for Canadian automotive media and social media content creators from the moment they arrived on-site. Set amongst the snowy, rolling hills of a private estate in Stouffville, Ontario, guests arrived and were greeted by nonother than Chef Jamie Kennedy of Jamie Kennedy Kitchens with a steaming cup of luxurious hot chocolate or vegetable soup served out of a cauldron over an open fire . Guests were then whisked into a bright and cozy main room for a three-course lunch by Chef Kennedy before heading out to their drive experiences led by our #plbautosport professional drive team. Slippery, icy, cold and unforgiving conditions were no match for the Subaru 2020 fleet as they carved up an off-roading course through forests, steep hills and sharp corners in our Autocross set up.
