February is almost over and we are looking forward to the beginning of Spring. We loved learning and celebrating the Chinese New Year. We loved using chopsticks to eat noodles for snack and our Dragon parade. We also enjoyed celebrating Valentines Day. We played a game where we bought some candy and learned the name of all the coins we could use. We are continuing with Jolly Phonics and learning about a new letter of the alphabet each week. We have very limited preschool and toddler spots so please email us and come and join in the fun and meet new friend.

January has flown by so quickly. We enjoyed learning about Winter animals, science experiments where we made predictions and then discovered the results and telling Winter themed stories. We are excited for all the fun activities coming in this month of February. Limited spots left. Please call or email to register.

November and December have been so much fun at Maple! We were doing some science experiments and exploring mixing colours. We have been excited about Xmas and we’re busy making ornaments, gifts for our parents and we even had a special message sent from Santa and he delivered gifts. We also learned about other holidays that are celebrated around the World. Our senior class made gifts for Seniors in our community who may be alone this year. They were delivered to Retirement ...residences and long term care in our community. We are accepting registrations for New Year and have some great activities planned for January.

We have been having so much fun at Maple over the past two months. Here is just a few things we have been doing. We have been celebrating Halloween, learning how to care for our teeth (after all those treats) and doing some activities about colours. We have still have spots available for ages 18 months to 6. Just a hint of the fun we have had learning at Maple so far this Fall! Apple stamp painting, scavenger hunt and learning about the types of leaves, learning how to make the letter of the alphabet and building structures with blocks to name just a few.
