Remembrance Day is a day to reflect and remember the many brave women and men who sacrificed years of their lives, and for some, who paid the ultimate sacrifice to insure our safety, peace, and freedom in the greatest nation in the world, Canada. Without their total selfless commitment we may not have the right to enjoy the benefits that we take for granted as Canadians. For many of us the horrors of war are something we only have read about, seen through the lens of a camera... or heard about from a family member. Most of us have been spared the reality of the brutal conflict but have reaped the many benefits of the bravest of the brave women and men who have given their lives, limbs and sometimes sanity to ensure our traditions, and a future in Canada they believed in. Today, take some time to reflect on their sacrifices and the gift of freedom that we have in Canada.

It's been just over nine months since our Rock Band class last performed, and only a few weeks into our class for this quarter, and the energy and drive to create and share music is overflowing from our Rock Band class! We are pleased to present a show that will be coming to you LIVE from inside MRSS! While we can't perform for an audience in person, it was very important to our students to do this show live rather than pre-recorded. We hope you'll join us from the comfort of your own home and appreciate the support of our students and music program here at MRSS. Access to the Livestream will be by donation to our program.
