The Mulgrave Volunteer Fire Department is a hard working crew. They recently celebrated their latest addition to the 'fleet' which will better help protect the community. Congratulations and thanks for all you do!

Marie Langley was a community leader in the Port Hawkesbury area for decades. She devoted many years to the Guiding movement and she is missed greatly. In honour of her devotion and support for those around her, the family has created Marie's Cupboard which you'll see on Granville Street in Port Hawkesbury soon. Over the past number of weeks we've been working with the great people at Landry Brothers in Louisdale...we're helping to logo their fleet of service vehicles. We're enjoying working with the crew. There's more to come.

Just a heads-up...we're taking an 'extra' long weekend and will be closed on Tuesday (October 13th). We'll have recovered from our turkey coma by Wednesday and be back to welcome you at that time. Happy Thanksgiving.
