Hello there! As massage therapy would take a little while to be fully safe to practice I was thinking to share some tips for self treatment and alleviate your pain until you can book an appointment again. I always found acupressure efficient and simple to practice. I have a self acupressure book home and would like to share it with you. ... What is acupressure in short? It is an ancient healing practice that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body self-cursrice abilities. The technic? Use prolonged firm finger pressure directly on the points; gradual, steady and firm pressure for about a couple of minutes. The pressure will depends on the points and on the person but in any case they would never be painful ("hurt good" is the limit). While applying the pressure take deep breaths in and try to relax into it. So today lets start with shoulder tensions!:) Mara Massage
