IG Wealth Management has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 case count across the country and have witnessed a steady increase in infection rates over the past few weeks. From BC to Quebec, provincial and municipal governments have had to manage dramatic increases in daily case counts and have responded by introducing more stringent restrictions. These have included recommendations around non-essential travel, limiting social gatherings, lockdowns to close non-essential bus...inesses, and restricting interactions with individuals outside of your household. In order to help stop the spread of Covid-19 IG Wealth Management has opted to close offices Nationwide to in-person meetings. Instead we will be offering virtual and phone meetings for client convince and continued business operations. One of my most quotable sayings has got to be #lifehappens. Our futures all hold many different paths and the choices we make along the way will govern those paths however; life happens along the way and we need to adjust for those unexpected circumstances. I will use my own life as an example. In the last 2 weeks we have had electrical issues, water issues, and a new job opportunity, for the primary caregiver in our household(not me). All of these things were not planned f...or but having a sound financial plan, emergency funds, a return to work plan which included childcare arrangements, all made these events easily manageable.
