EXCITING NEWS - release of video segments of Forgotten Memories of the Ottawa Valley. After talking about this over the last few months, this morning I uploaded the last of 7 videos covering the first set of my 2 set folklore folk show about the history and heritage of the Ottawa Valley. In this "folklore" format, I tell stories about the Ottawa Valley (true stories), then I sing songs that I've written about those stories. The videos and associated song files are being made ...available to anyone/everyone for FREE because there was no cost to me in creating it only alot of time and patience. There is alot to say about this, but the main thing to to welcome everybody to view the videos and to provide links: - to view videos with narration (story telling) and song, go to https://marcaudetmusic.com/videos - to listen to the songs with narration, go to https://marcaudetmusic.com/music - to listen to (or download FREE) the songs without narration (songs only), go to my Bandcamp page at https://marcaudetmusic.bandcamp.com/album/forgotten-memories The narrated songs have also been uploaded to NCCRAs (National Campus and Community Radio Association) Community Radio Exchange, where the show is available for broadcast on interested community radio stations across Canada. Distribution includes making the video collection available to seniors homes and care facilities where residences can be entertained in a covid-safe manner. The second set of the show will be recorded in the spring or summer of 2021. Enjoy and SHARE!

Take a listen to how this song turned out with a full band. Let it Rain is song about getting through a difficult time. The song was written in the early morning on Opalescent Lake in Algonquin Park after a storm, when the waters were calm like a mill pond and a warm mist was hovering in the still air. My daughter woke to me singing the newly written lyrics. It was one of those moments, and I had with me a pencil and piece of paper (the park reservation). In this song you'll hear amazing guitar work by Blair Hogan (and bass), beautiful piano by Tyler Kealey, cool drumming by Dylan Roberts and beautiful backing vocals from Jenna Steele. The production work is really nice as well. This song has the highest hit count on Spotify (of the songs on my album, The River). ENJOY!! https://youtu.be/TsscnQfDer8

Stream no. 36, tomorrow night at 8 pm, is a collection of songs that start with the D chord. The D chord has a cool vibe to it. That's what brings together artists like Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Fortunate Ones, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Marshal Tucker Band, Rita McNeil, Neil Young and Coldplay... with a few exceptions. TUNE IN.
