Championnats du monde 2020. Je me retrouve dernier apres 5 secondes à cause d'une chute de peloton. Je perds beaucoup de temps. Je suis quand même fier de m'être battu jusqu'à la 51e place. 2020 World Champs. A bad crash in the peloton right off the start got me stuck in traffic and in the top 10 last riders. Lost a lot of time. Pround of my battle all the way back up to 51st. It has been a different year and I could not have asked for better support than my team @pivotcycles_ote and for making all this racing possibleYou guys made this trip one of the best ever

Courte saison de coupe du monde mais très content que l'équipe est prise les mesures de sécurité possibles et que le voyage fut possible et plaisant. Je suis très content de ma progression sur la scène internationale. Faire un hike de 8h au milieu d'un gros bloc d'entrainement n'est peut-être pas la meilleure idée, mais ce fut une journée magnifique quand meme! 48h plus tard et mes jambes ne fonctionnent toujours pas. Doing an 8hr hike in the middle of a big block of training might not be the best idea ever but whatever, that was one heck of a good day. 48hrs later and I still havent recovered from that one. @ Cascade Mountain (Alberta)

Grosse et belle ride hier! Je dois partager que je fus agréablement surpris de mon Wahoo. La batterie est meilleure que mes jambes... elle avait encore 50% lorsque j'ai arrêté apres plus de 8h. My Wahoo can definetly hold up during my epic days. During yesterday's ride, I was suprised to see that the battery was doing better than my legs... still had 50% battery left after 8hrs and 45mins. Fait amusant que j'ai appris à la dure: la course n'est pas terminée au sommet de la montagne principale dans une grosse étape. Dans la dernière étape du Mediterranean Epic, j'ai tout donné pour rester dans le groupe principal pendant les 30 minutes de montée et en descendant vers la ligne d'arrivée, je pensais que le travail était fait ... et non! Tombé dans les roches lousses (Heureusement pour moi, ce n'était pas une grosse chute). Fun fact I learned the hard way: the ra...ce is not over at the top of the mountain in a big stage. Back in the last stage of the Mediterranean Epic, I gave absolutely everything I had to stay in the main group during the 30min climb, going into the descent to the finish line thinking the job was done... nope! C’est déjà terminé pour mon camp d’entrainement hivernal. Je ne pouvais pas demander mieux avec des bons amis, de la bonne température et beaucoup de temps sur mon vélo. Pour ceux qui aime les chiffres: 140 heures de vélo, 3100km, 57 000m vertical, 100 000 calories et 5 jours de courses sur 6 semaines. 0 crevaison, merci Maxxis Tires - USA And just like that, the main training camp of the year is over. Awesome friends, good weather and a lot of riding over the last 6 weeks. For numbers addicts, its about 140hrs on the bike, 3100km, 57 000m of climbing, 100 000 calories, 5 days of racing, and too many pastries and coffees (stopped counting them) but millage was easy to sum up with @wahoofitnessofficial Big shoot out for @maxxisbike for a total of 0 flat #girona #spain @ Girona, Spain

Des bonnes batailles pour ma première vraie course de la saison. Un peu de difficultés techniquement, donc je perds beaucoup d'énergie à la sortie des virages, mais satisfait de m'être battu jusqu'à la fin. Good fights all race long here in Banyoles. I had a "bad day" technically, applying fast in-slow out instead of slow in fast out so it was hard to keep up with the front group with all the turns but happy with how I kept fighting! 42th in the end. Quelle belle expérience à ma première course par étapes! Beaucoup de souffrance mais tant de plaisir en même temps. Je fini en 18e position à la dernière étape et 17e au clasement général. Statistiques: 255km, 5700m d+, 10h et 10 gels. Wow! Couldn't be happier with my first mtb stage race! Legs/fitness, bike, weather, organisation and courses were all great. Sufferfest but also so much fun at the same time, stoked about the awesome experience it was. I ended up 18th in the l...ast stage bringing me into 17th overall. Comment je me sens après une seule journée de course... Il en reste trois!! Bonne nouvelle, je me sentais bien pour une première course et j'ai eu bien du plaisir! La course par étape consiste en quatre longue journée: 65,55,85 et 65km, variant entre 1500 et 2000m de montées.... Post first stage Three to go... Stoked about how I was feeling and how the race went! Finishing in 24th in a very strong field. More details about the race: four days of 65, 55, 85 and 65km. I had to get out of my comfort zone today At first I was impressed of the steepness and the slickeness of this feature but I wanted to ride it down. So I tried... it took me a few try. La saison est terminée pour moi. Derniere fin de semaine avec les Championnats Panamericain. Dans la grosse bouette avec les petits tires ce fut bien le fun! Finished the season with Pan Ams. Didn't have the best race at Saturdays C2 but the Championship race was all about fun in the mud! Bon weekeend de course malgré quelques petites badluck. 2e samedi, 3e dimanche! Sunday's C2 was a rough day for me. Had a little hold up which put me deep in the red zone to come back with the head of the race and then a flat tire made the day even harder. I'm still satisfied with the weekend overall! La saison vient tout juste de terminée avec la dernière tranche de la coupe du monde aux États-Unis. Ce fut une saison difficile à ma première année chez les Élites, mais ca fait partie du sport. Je reviendrai plus fort l’an prochain. Season just ended with the last World Cup in Snowshoe, USA. Its been a though season as a first year elite but that's part of the sport. I will come back stronger next year
