#GratitudeFriday Today marked the 20th anniversary of my Real Estate Career. Wow... I can’t believe it’s been 20 years already. I started when I was just 21/22... ... I still remembered on my 1st agent tour in Richmond, I got pulled over & asked if I was a high school student doing a research project on being a realtor I remembered renting a car for 11 days to get my 1st deal to make enough to lease my 1st car I remembered going into my 1st multiple offer competition & been so frazzled that I forgot to ask my buyers to sign the offer I remembered I has no place to stay when I first started... I had to debate whether every dollar would go into gas for my car or food for me I am grateful for so many mentors who came into my real estate journey at different times. I am grateful for Dexter Realty & all the amazing managers for your support, encouragement & advise over the years I am grateful for all the wonderful colleagues that I have had the pleasure in collaborating with to achieve our clients’ goals I am grateful for ALL the amazing people & families I have had the privilege in serving your real estate needs. Well, today was a great way to start the new year! The sun came out, the families & community came together help raise funds for the Delta Hospitals Auxiliary Thrift Shop that had a devastating fire last week. Mike & I thought today was be pouring rain, gusting wind, and just in general not the most pleasant day. To everyone’s surprise, we were treated to the most gorgeous sunny afternoon we could have ever hoped for. We sponsored fresh coffee , juice & prepared bags of p...opcorn for the families who came out to have mini family photoshoot session done by Dynamic Photo Vancouver! All proceeds & donations go to Thrift Shop in our Ladner community Mike & I had a blast; we saw many beautiful families with smiley faces and we were told repeatedly that my popcorn were the BEST EVERRRRRR !
