So, I am all about supporting local businesses. Last month though, I was looking for some decaf espresso coffee. I just love having a cappuccino in the morning but the caffeine gives me jitters. I usually get my few bags of Lavazzo in Toronto when I visit each fall, but no trip this year. So, I put out a plea to all my FB friends to have a look for me as there is never any in Corner Brook. People looked at Costco, Walmart and other larger stores without any luck at all. Then... I saw an ad from these folks and decided to make contact. Sure enough, they have a grind that is excellent as espresso I was told. All I had to do was e-transfer the appropriate funds and they would deliver it to me - IN PERSON!!! Now, then! The coffee is delicious and I get to have one whenever I want. It is roasted right here on the west coast and I have become a new and faithful customer. Lesson learned, Folks! After reading this article I hesitated before posting it on my page. I hesitated because I have dealt with WorkplaceNl several times this past summer while working for a client with multiple workers. I learned with the first incident how important it is to report any and ALL injuries as soon as they happen, which, as a safety professional I always preach. Secondly, paperwork MUST be completed in full. Form 6, Form 7 AND the Physician's Report are all vital to get your claim going. It's unfortunate that this young woman is suffering from what now seems to be a permanent disability.
