2018 was full of up's and down's, just like everyone. I feel that you cannot live an entire year and not experience some bad that comes with the good. I took some time off travel to focus on my family ensuring I was present in every moment and not just a bystander in their life. I found peace in taking a step back and not being dependent on my phone and email, it was stressful but also liberating. It allowed me time to reflect on if travel was still a passion - if this was so...mething I still wanted. The simple answer is: Yes. The reality is I have made friends I wouldn't otherwise have met. I have expanded my knowledge with every new travel request for a destination I am not familiar with. I have been lucky enough to travel where I may not have had the opportunity too without this career. There is so much more to this career and I am grateful for all of it. I am looking forward to a new year, a new mindset, meeting new people and making even more travel dreams come true. Happy New Years.
