We'll unfortunately miss this event in Quebec, but you have to admit, Super Flower Blood Moon Eclipse is a pretty impressive name.

Because it's Wednesday and natural history is neat, here's some info on the Irish Elk. Their antlers, at 12 feet wide, are the largest known in history.

With thanks to Marianopolis student Charl Margaux Elcano for sharing his own work. #npm2021 "Zip Zoom" Wings, stapled down ... Do I truly have them? Do I poses the ability of freedom? My mind tells me not But I'm struggling to keep the spark alit Its embers whisper to me "The time is soon, soon you can let go" I hold it fast on these blustery cold nights Turmoil and anxiety whip past me My clipped wings no aid I wait for the hand to reach out so I may grasp it tightly But I'm afraid my grip with bruise it I cannot yet grow back the wings stripped from me But soon, fate shall take it's course And then I'll know Are my wings still there?

With thanks to Professor John Vincent of the English Department, who submitted this poem by his friend, the late James Tate. We are grateful for the opportunity to share Goodtime Jesus with our community. Reprinted here with permission from Mr. Tate’s estate. Goodtime Jesus Jesus got up one day a little later than usual. He had been dreaming so deep there was nothing left in his head. What was it? A nightmare, dead bodies walking all around him, eyes rolled back, skin fallin...g off. But he wasn’t afraid of that. It was a beautiful day. How ‘bout some coffee? Don’t mind if I do. Take a little ride on my donkey, I love that donkey. Hell, I love everybody. Source: Tate, James. Selected Poems. Wesleyan, 1991. #npm2021
