Good evening everyone. I hope that you’re all doing well despite the fact that we have numerous assignments and work to submit even though we’re in a global pandemic. #bigbrain Anyways in order to cope with all the stress, we’re back again this week with a couple of book suggestions. My personal favourite from this list is In Order To Live by Yeonmi Park. It’s an incredible story about a North Korean girl’s escape from North Korea and the hardships and obstacles she went through. It reminded me of a little bit of what we’re going through at the moment with the whole pandemic. I strongly suggest these books for everyone! Have a good week and I wish you guys luck with all the assignments

Hey guys! I hope that you all are doing well and staying safe. I know these are very challenging times but hopefully, with social distancing, we can get through this together! We’re back once again with the weekly book suggestions! This time, we are doing a collab with 2 other amazing clubs at the college: MariMUN and the Unheard Voices Book Club and this initiative is a part of our campaign! ... The theme for this week was on mental health and social justice, two very important topics, especially in today’s climate. We hope that you guys will enjoy these books! And make sure to give all our clubs a follow: MariMUN & The Unheard Voices Book Club! To end this post, I wanted to remind you guys that our club is also teaming up with Marianopolis Red Cross to be part of our campaign! The campaign is called Covid-19 Awareness Campaign: Life under quarantine. Along with these weekly book suggestions, our campaign consists of making a live chat with other fellow Mari students in order to discuss our concerns relating to COVID-19! We’re also conducting a survey to see how this pandemic is affecting the mental and physical health of Mari students so please participate if you can! If you’re interested, make sure to keep yourself updated by checking our club pages. Stay safe and remember to wash your hands
