[UPCOMING WORKSHOPS] BAKING Wanna satisfy that sweet tooth of yours? If so, this workshop is for you! You will be making Toffee Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies with our first-year student Natasha Marz, an experienced baker who makes incredible cookies! ... This workshop is designed for beginner level bakers, but people of all levels are welcome to join for a good time. You have to prepare all the ingredients, but you could get a 10$ grocery shop gift card after the workshop in compensation for the cost of the materials! Join this Chess Workshop with our second-year Mari student Yilin Li, a three-time Canadian chess champion! In this session, she will share the opportunities that chess has provided her with, such as traveling to South Africa, Greece and Albania to participate in international tournaments. She will also discuss the place of female players, especially those of young age, in this game, as well as the Netflix series "Queen's Gambit." You could also leave in the sign-up form any chess-related question you would like her to answer/talk about! Time: Monday May 24th, 1-3pm Prerequisite: None. Looking for something fun and relaxing to do after the finals? Come join this online sculpture workshop! Presented by Victoria Anson, a second-year Mari student with ample experience in sculpturing, this workshop is beginner-friendly and doesn't require any experience. Plus, you can get the polymer clays for free at the school! (Pick-up at Wayne's) Cost: Free! Time: Saturday, May 22nd 4 to 6:30pm The link to the zoom meeting will be sent to you through Mios...
