I’ve posted this before but it’s such a good tip! Pro tip: Shampoo twice! For your first shampoo, use HALF your normal amount of shampoo, spread onto your fingertips and work into your roots ignoring the lengths. Rinse. Now this is hardly going to lather and is going to feel like a waste of time but trust me!... For your second shampoo, again, use HALF(or less) your usual amount of shampoo, spread onto your fingertips and start at the roots. This time you should get tons of bubbles and be able to work it all the way through to the ends of your hair. Rinse and condition as normal. Explanation: Shampoo bonds to the impurities on your hair(dirt, oils, product residue) then once it’s bonded it won’t bubble up. I like to compare to a sink of dirty dishes. If you just keep adding more soap eventually your dishes may come clean but it’ll work much better if you pull the plug, get rid of the dirty water, and start fresh. The end result is actually LESS product used and cleaner hair!
