The weather app says It's supposed to snow this Tuesday in Northern Ontario. Of course, we all can't wait for summer but I'm just happy that it's not too late to post gorgeous winter sessions. - I loved capturing this family of three before the little one entered this world. A month later I had the chance to come back and take photos of them all nested up. - Thank you for your trust in creating these memories You two are the sweetest couple and I adored every session !

Thank you Megan, Daniel, and of course Rusty for being such troopers during this snowstorm of a session. I think we can all agree that Megan did a great job at hiding it, but we were absolutely freezing! Once again she KILLED IT I'm so happy we toughed out through the first snowstorm of the year to get these cute family portraits.

Here goes my last session of fall! What a great way to end the colorful season at Major's Hill Park. Such a bitter-sweet moment as I'll be posting winter sessions until spring comes around. Thank you Vanessa for trying out this new location with me! I'll be hosting more sessions at this Ottawa location in October 2021.

These maternity + engagement photos for Melissa and Myriam were taken during a little thunderstorm As expected, Fall in Ottawa brings rainy days which gave us the chance to take both bright and airy as well as moody photos at the same session. ... Myriam and Melissa met online. They instantly had an intense connection that neither had experienced before. It was a real life fairytale - a modern tinderella story. After doing long distance for almost a year they moved in together in a little apartment in Kingston. A year to the day that they matched on tinder (just after midnight) Melissa proposed to Myriam. Melissa set up an indoor fall picnic date with some of their favourite things. They had charcuterie with wine, slow danced and played board games. During the game Life where you have to stop and get married - - Myriam was stunned as she always thought she would be the first to propose. The following June, Myriam popped the question back to Melissa during a photo session for pride month using the same picnic blanket and games they take everywhere. They chatted about it many times and decided it was as good a time as any to start their family. In December they moved forward with the process. Together they chose which of them would carry and then got a referral for a fertility clinic. Once they chose the donor, all that was left was the actual IUI procedure. This process, although stressful, was also very exciting. - "' ' . ' - Their advice for other people looking into this process is to Start early, get informed, and connect with other families online. . . . Now they will soon be welcoming their baby boy into this world !
