When you arrive at the marina or launch ramp, load and unload as efficiently as possible & don’t make stops between your vehicle and vessel. You’ll be out on the water quicker and kept safe in the process!

Great news!! Starting Monday, May 4th Ontario’s marinas will be allowed to "begin preparations for the recreational boating season". This is a critical step in opening the marina to prepare for your safe return to the water, however it is further mandated that marinas are not open to the public" at this time. Do contact us via email or the office phone should you have any questions or concerns.

The Premier’s recent outline of the systematic recovery of the economy is encouraging. We remain optimistic and will keep you informed while working with the guidelines implemented by the Provincial Government. We have received a few questions regarding logistics and what lies ahead in the Marina. Some have indicated that remaining in storage would be preferred if the situation doesn’t change soon. There are also concerns regarding the fee structure and annual dockage rates. ...As mentioned previously, we are looking to take into account non-usage of the Marina during the affected time. With the current state of emergency still in place, we suspect boating in the month of May will be compromised, but it is too soon to tell how the season as a whole will be impacted. At this point, we are uncertain as to when adjustments will be necessary and will therefore implement any changes retrospectively, when the situation becomes clearer. We recognize that the unprecedented reality we face today is causing financial hardship across all communities. The Marina remains committed to maintaining its high standard and to continue to provide a dependable and secure facility for your boat. Marina staff are on site to ensure the safety and blocking of all vessels. Do not hesitate to contact us with any specific concerns or requests. Whether it is to arrange payment flexibility with the office, if you would like your shrink-wrap removed, or anything that needs tending to on your boat, please simply let us know. We collaborate very closely with our respective boating associations in lobbying efforts to seek permission from the Province to re-open in a controlled and considerate manner. In Ontario, 90% of boating activities take place from June-September and we are optimistic that we can enjoy these months with you this year. We are committed to working tirelessly to ensure the Marina is ready for you, when the time comes. In the meantime Stay safe. Stay home. Stay healthy. Your Team at Marina del Rey

Covid-19: As a result of the update by Ontario's Chief Medical Officer, the marina will now be temporarily closed effective immediately. It is our understanding that this will remain in place until April, 18th. Do not hesitate to contact us via email or the office phone should you have any questions or concerns. We will be checking on all boats, blocking and the facility on a daily basis so there is no need to visit the marina at this time. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay home!
