TODAY at 7pm is the online premiere of my friend and colleague Lan Tung’s feature show. In the first half I will be accompanying Lan on two pieces in traditional Taiwanese/Chinese style (with a touch of Portuguese, despite my greatest efforts!). These two pieces will be followed by a truly free improvisation we named ‘Night Sky’. The second half of the show features Lan accompanied by the great Turning Point Ensemble premiering new works by composer @Tim Brady! Register to watch. Next Friday (26th) at 7pm PST: Chan Dot Com Watch Party / Premiere - pwyc. I will be a guest at Lan Tung’s feature show, playing two traditional pieces arranged by Lan and a duo improvisation. Info in comments. Lan Tung, Turning Point Ensemble, and Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.
