Happy Valentine’s Day! We missed making you ship your pants this past Halloween, but it will happen this year!
A foggy morning view of the ships this past Monday. Our Restoration Manager, Larry Robinson, climbed up Black Bear Island Lighthouse to capture this eerie photo.
The Marine Museum would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
Did you know the Marine Museum of Manitoba has a Heritage Trust Fund? Currently every $2 donated will earn $1 matching funds from the Manitoba government! This #GivingTuesday, if you're able to, bring real #change to your community and consider a donation to to our Heritage Trust Fund. Endowments last forever and 100% of your #donation stays with the endowment and only continues to grow.
Here’s an update from set - what a journey this season has been!

2020 Announcement Every year, Halloween Haunt and all our volunteers look forward offering our guests a horrifyingly unique experience that will make you... ship your pants! We have been waiting to see how covid-19 would change our event and the experience our guests have come to expect from us. Safety of our guests and volunteers is always top priority. That being said, Halloween Haunt is suspending our event and will not be opening the haunted ships this year. We do not want to change the experience that we offer in order to meet provincial guidelines. We thank you for understanding our decision to keep everyone healthy and safe. We will miss seeing everyone this year, but look forward to scaring everyone again in 2021, with even BIGGER and BETTER ways to make you ship your pants!! Stay safe....scare you later!
