This morning’s sunrise, a beautiful way to start my day.

Fun Fact: Goose Spit's Indigenous name is Pelxqikw, which means round on point. Both sides of the spit were used by local First Nations to collect clams and ...cockles in spring and to fish for salmon in winter. If you are missing the Goose Spit Polar Bear swim this year, you can still walk on the stairs at Goose Spit, but remember, the stairs are open to one way/uphill use only. Stair users can circle back to the park via Yates Road and Hawkins Greenway forming an 820 metre loop.
