We are pleased to announce the newest member of our Dental team. Please welcome Dr. Matt Marinovich, the son of Drs. Sue and John Marinovich and classmate of Dr. Andrew Hall. Matt grew up in Bayside with his 2 younger sisters Bailey and Abbey. Matt and his wife Lana are joining us in the Quinte Community. These newlyweds were married last August, with Andrew by their side as the Best Man. Matt completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Western University. From there,... he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. Since then, he has been practicing as a Dentist in the Greater Toronto Area, and is excited to now contribute to our community. His wife Lana Marinovich, obtained an Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences at Western University, where she met Matt. She went on to pursue a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, where she specialized in Health Services Management. She is currently a Director with RBC’s Healthcare Financial Services team and is working remotely. Matt is a well-rounded individual, with a perpetual happy disposition! He likes to stay active and has played many sports growing up, including Rugby, Soccer, Basketball, and Hockey. As the intramural sports representative for their Dental class, Matt organized athletic activities for his classmates to enjoy. He and Andrew always made sure their class of 120 was mixing in some fun throughout their studies. Currently Matt enjoys wakeboarding, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hitting the gym, and playing musical instruments. Matt and Lana are avid travellers and have back packed to over 13 countries together. Both are Certified Advanced Scuba Divers and look forward to exploring the deep blue every chance they get! Matt enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in Esthetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, and Implant Dentistry. Matt is intrigued by the latest technology in all aspects of dentistry and appreciates that communication to understand each patient’s needs is paramount. His calm nature and contagious smile make for a pleasant dental experience. He enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them feel as comfortable as possible. It is with great pride that we welcome Matt to our team! We hope you will get a chance to welcome him yourself at your next visit.

Debbie is enjoying her week off with her 2nd granddaughter Hallie born January 11th.... Michele is spending her time off with her second grandson born February 4th Hudson Mark. Last Saturday Drs Sue, John and Andrew had the privilege of attending the Ottawa Dental Society’s Presidents gala, an invitation extended by the president and classmate Dr Micaela Fitzgerald. The three amigos and roommates Dr Jacob Fitzgerald, Dr Andrew Hall and Dr Matt Marinovich had fun assisting the trapeze team. Also celebrating with them were the new Mrs Lana Marinovich, Dr Stéphanie Labbé and former classmates Dr John Fitzgerald and Dr Dave and Nancy Amato.
