Being in business for so many years l had the great pleasure of meeting so many great individuals. One of them Is Steve Hall. Steve came to the gym when I first... started out. At that time he was still in high school and wanted to get stronger for his sports which I must say he was good at. Steve asked if he could do something for the gym as a school project. Sure I said and waited to see what would come this. Well as you can see by the photo it was something that took me off guard. The wooden logo has stood tall and proud on our walls in each location. When I looked at my body fills with love and respect for that young man and all of many years we spent together talking and training. So Steve A Huge Thanks to you it is a moment that will remain with me forever. Keep Strong my Friend and may God be with you. See more

Well my friends, hope you are all well and as can be during these unique times. Here’s also hoping you are keeping as active in any way that makes you feel good. I am not going to show ways to do there are many others there doing that. I would you all, my friends, to look at this as a Window In Time. What I mean is using this time prepare for when the gyms open up again. Yes things will be different and we need to look at that way. Besides allowing the body to recover and re...pair itself changing how we workout. Before all happened were you happy with your workouts or were they getting stale. So what l am offering is help with that. By letting me know your situation l would like to offer my opinion, thoughts and suggestions on what you are doing. There is no cost involved I just to give back using all the expertise I have gained over many, many years. Thanking you all in advance for allowing me gain this knowledge that allows to help. Some thoughts of sports training and timing. If you want to improve your sports weight training is the way to go. The thing here to know how long it takes for the body to adjust so will be able to help you out in with the results looking for. A good rule of thumb is for the lighter none contact sports it takes about 3 to 4 months for the body to adjust. After this period of time you would see improvement. The one thing to keep in mind is with the new strength and range of mot...ion give the body time to adjust to this. This means do not step right back into where you left off. Observe the changes and how they are effecting the your movements. For the heavier contact sports it generally takes 8 to 9 months because of the many different muscle group areas involved. Once you know what areas need work make a list and start on each one individually while at the same time lightning the load on your stronger areas. Put all your energy's in those weaker areas and keep the exercises to the basics. The back the unseen muscle. Getting to be friends with your back takes a bit of time and effort. The first thing to know is that it is broken down into different parts. Each of these parts needs to worked to make it complete. Really it's not that hard. Find a diagram of a back shot. Than break it down into three parts. First one from the neck down to top of shoulder blades, second part from there to down to about six inches above your bum, the third part from there down. Nex...t step is finding what exercises work those areas. these can be found on the internet along with pictures to help you out. The weight at first should be kept lighter so can get to feel the area working. The forearms and arms are the weak link here so take your time. The back takes heavier weight to make it respond. As you work the area see if you can get a picture in your mind. It also helps having someone behind you to point out where the exercise is working. The rewards of taking the time will come back to you many times over as you age. Become friends with this part and you will feel the freedom. Hi, to everyone out there. Beware the vicious circle Keep in mind that your daily eating patterns form a cycle. ... There is a ripple effect from eating late at night and delaying or avoiding breakfast. If you are not hungry in the morning and go without breakfast, you run the risk of starting the cycle of poor meal timing and not spreading your caloric intake properly throughout the day. Also, keep in mind that overeating at any time of the day whether it is morning, noon or night will lead to weight gain. However, by balancing your meals and snacks throughout the day, you can make the most of your metabolism and keep your energy levels consistent.
