So grateful for all this research showing the positive impacts of Juice Plus+ on our immune systems. A strong body is well defended, resilient and prepared!! Juice Plus has PROVEN our concentrated whole food nutrition has a positive impact in the body in double blind, placebo controlled studies! This is why I have taken my JP everyday for the past year and give it to my family as well.

I understand the struggle to work, parent, stay active, care for aging parents, have a fresh face, tick all the boxes in a day... Trust me I too do all of these things daily and feel the pressure to do everything well. It’s an expectation of our society that really doesn’t bias for our mental health... The fact of the matter is if you don’t fuel your body with whole food, you will feel fatigued, run down, unable to cope, unsuccessful at everything and you will be teaching the... next generation how to be disconnected with their body, slow, overweight, overtired and unable to cope and love a healthy life as well. Our cells need plants to function. That is a fact! Yes you may feel that greasy burger, basket of fries, town or ice cream or donut satisfies in the moment. But the cascade of sluge that occurs, in our cells, happens almost just as fast. Disease begins to settle in. The brain miscommunicates with our organs. I’m not saying don’t ever eat the burger, fries or donut. I am simply challenging you to make time for simple healthy meals. Eat whole food in proper portions. It’s as easy as mixed green salad, cucumber, carrot, baked or grilled chicken breast and a simple olive oil, lemon, sea salt/pepper dressing. It’s a simple berry smoothie with some hemp seed, flax and cinnamon sprinkled on top. It’s as simple as 2 whole eggs, some mixed greens and a cup of fresh fruit. It’s as simple as making a grocery list, sticking to the outer isles and spending 20mins in the kitchen daily. What are you making to fuel your cells today? #holistichealthcoach #holistichealth #holisticnutrition #wholefood #soulfood #eatplants #marissasylvesterwellness

Trigger alert... This isn’t something I talk about in polite company. Mostly because when I have seen posts like this in the past I was afraid to be vulnerable and shed light on my suffering. I don’t seek the spotlight. I am constantly growing. I understand and see the importance of casting light on the challenges surrounding emotional abuse. It is important to be seen and to feel heard. To boast confidence that we are not alone and we can break free of old trauma, triggers... and abusive behaviour. I too understand what it is like to be belittled. To be told you are unimportant. To be spoken to like a child, to be afraid and unable to state your own opinions for fear of judgement and ridicule. I have been yelled at. I have been the brunt of someone’s misdirected anger. I have be stood over and made to feel small. I have been abandoned more than once. But in doing the work, to heal my own wounds, I have found and bolstered healthy relationships. I work every day at being grounded and finite in who I am and what is acceptable for me. I know now what try safety is. I know safety and acceptance begins within me. I have healthy relationship dynamics with my fiancé, my son, my friends and with my family. Some days I feel the old triggers. Some days the powerlessness rises to the surface, some days I feel drawn into the old struggle. It’s ok. I am still healing. Most days, I feel empowered. I have a voice. I choose to use it. I ask for respect and kindness and expect it from those around me. I lead with grace, respect and kindness. I set boundaries for what is ok and what isn’t. You are not alone. You can do it too. Go inside and hug your inner child, become aware of what triggers you, seek support from those you trust. Spend the time getting still, in nature, see a therapist or working with a holistic practitioner that is centred on helping you break free of the beliefs you have been led to believe we’re true. Speak out not for sympathy but for collective awareness and create a community based healing. I stand shoulder to shoulder with you. #holistichealthcoach #emotionalabuse #healing #awareness #innerchildwork #boundaries #marissasylvesterwellness

Thank you to all the mothers! You are amazing! A collection of beautiful souls, who cast an endless beam of love and light on the planet. We love and appreciate you... Not just for a day, but forever and always. Remember if you choose take time for yourself today. There is nothing selfish in that action. As Mother’s we hold space for all energetic beings around us and so it is in complete alignment for us to offer and allow time to rest and rejuvenate ourselves. Allow tho...se around you to care for you today. To ask for help when you need it. To allow the light that you cast to come back into your own body, mind and soul. #holistichealthcoach #mothersday #lightworkers #loveislove #gratitude #marissasylvesterwellness

To be humble is to accept that while there will always be individuals more and less advanced than ourselves, being aware of the spectrum of development can provide us with insights that levels us up personally. Recognizing these insights is a matter of opening ourselves up to the fact that not only do others think and feel differently than us, but their life experiences may have shaped them very differently than our own experiences have shaped us. It’s an opportunity to have ...others teach us how to have a greater understanding of life’s situations, perspectives and challenges. When we cultivate a genuine yearning to know what skills and talents other people have been blessed with, we cannot help but learn humility. Instinctively understanding that emotions like envy breed resistance that prevents us from growing, and that being flexible in our interactions, bring forward connections with unexpected mentors. We never truly understand a persons situation until we choose to empathize with miles walked in their shoes. #holistichealthcoach #humility #behumble #thursdaythoughts #marissasylvesterwellness

It is so important to surround myself with uplifting and empowering narratives. To be supported for my unique and empathic qualities. To know I am safe and truly valued. The original premise of mom’s groups was supposed to be a place to seek support, a place to idea share, a place to get grounded and connected as a community. What I see happening is the opposite.. . Women attacking women, a breeding ground for judgement, comparison and arguments. This is triggering and un...productive. Not at all how I chose to invite energy into my day amd quite sad when we all need softness, community and compassion right now. Want to know where I go to seek support and inspiration?? and you're welcome to join me. The Expanded & Empowered Women's Circle Check out my spiritual guide @kristikingperras Two weeks in this circle and the shifts are already occurring. Brining up my vibration. Creating the mindset shifts I need to design the life of my dreams. Standing alongside like minded, caring, compassionate souls who are all looking for ways to break free of stress, get unstuck and create ripples that heal the self and truly shift the vibrational energy of the collective circle of women! Fat is an essential part of your child or teen’s diet. It plays an important role in the development of your child’s brain and helps them reach their maximum growth potential, balance mood, focus and attention, support hormone health and are inflammation fighters. Fat also helps the body absorb the fat-soluble vitamins, A, D, E and K. Myth: healthy fats are associated with overweight, obesity, heart disease and stroke. Truth: process food, sugar and too many carbohydrate...s create a recipe for disaster with growth, development and rates of obesity. The amount of fat needed by the body is different for each person. Teens should aim for 25% to 35% of daily calories from fat. Infants and toddlers need more for rapid brain and cellular growth. The colostrum produced in breast milk is essential to your babies brain and immune system health? Literally tailor made to protect your baby! Aim for 40-45% healthy fats between ages 1-4 years old. Resilience is our ability to adapt with the unpredictability of our environment, whether it be social, chemical, physical, mental, spiritual, or anything else that challenges us. We often hear people telling us to ground ourselves, but we may not be sure what that means and how we might do it. The practice of grounding ourselves is a way of bringing our energy back into our body on earth. One of the easiest ways to ground ourselves is to bring our attention to our breath as it enters and leaves our bodies. After about 10 breaths, we feel much more connected to our physical selves. Then bringing our awareness to the sensations in our bodies, moving ...awareness from our head down to our feet, we can physically, emotionally and spiritually feel more centred and connected to ourself. Just a few minutes of this each day, can bring us home to bodies and to the earth. One of the ways I like to ground is to hold a smooth Rose Quartz grounding stone, close my eyes, taking my deep breaths, I have roots growing out of the bottoms of our feet, connecting me from my body to the earth. We receive powerful energy from the earth just as we do from the forms of energy we associate with the sky, and our body is a tool that brings these two energies together in a sacred union. When we are grounded, we essentially become a strong container in which our spirits can safely and productively dwell. This is why grounding ourselves every day, especially at the beginning of the day, is such a beneficial practice. Do you have a grounding practice? How do you tap in and balance your universal energy daily? #holistichealthcoach #grounding #groundingtechniques #rooted #dailypractice #marissasylvesterwellness

Gratitude practice... Do you have one? Maybe you: Writing down in a journal at the beginning or the end of the day 3-5 things you are grateful for? Perhaps you: Meditate on the people and moments that bring you joy? Do you: Take a daily walk reflecting on the people, places, sounds and smells that bring you peace and happiness?... Practicing breathing: Deeply and fully feeling the belly, ribs and chest, rise and fall, expand and contract. Whatever your practice is or isn’t in this moment is not up for judgement. Simply be aware of its existence or non-existence and make a conscious effort to create a practice moving forward. If you forget one day no worries. Just get back up the next day and start again. Please let me know how this is going or if you need support starting a gratitude practice moving into the new year... #holistichealthcoach #wellness #gratitude #journalling #walking #writing #breathing #marissasylvesterwellness

Deep down we all want to love ourselves, but intentionally loving ourselves can be easier said than done. Loving yourself is more important than you may realize when it comes to our daily lives, physical and mental health, and our relationships with others. It’s the foundation of valuing your own existence, physical, mental, and spiritual growth, self-confidence, happiness, and the ability to love others. Accepting ourselves is the first and most important step when it comes... to self-love. Some ways to practice loving ourselves include: accepting the parts that are challenging, speaking kindly to yourself every day, working out, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, being positive, forgiving yourself, having more grace for yourself, even buying yourself flowers When we start practicing these things, loving ourselves will become easier and will begin to transform our lives for the better, allowing us to love others more too. Remember: You are loved. You are wonderfully made. You are beautiful. You have a purpose. You are a masterpiece. To fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness. - Robert Morley #projecthappiness #marissasylvesterwellness #selfcare #love #christmascheer #holistichealthcoach
