Here are a few more pics of Buster. He is still waiting on a foster or forever home. You could even foster with the option to adopt. Please consider helping this sweet handsome boy in need.

Buster (mix breed) is looking for an experienced foster or forever home. He is 2 years old. He loves everyone he meets and is super friendly. He gets along with other dogs but can get overwhelmed outside with large dogs or too much going on at once, he is still learning the ropes. Best with no cats. He is about 60 lbs. higher energy. Meet Charlie. Deb is currently fostering him. He is an owner surrender currently available. 5 year old purebred whippet. we have some members already interested so we will only ask for applications if needed. he is as sweet as pie and good with everyone!

Ruby says "please play with me!" to her big foster bro Keeyo. What a sweet goofy girl!

UPDATE: We will continue to update you on the status of our dogs as new updates become available. We currently do not have any dogs available for adoption and unsure yet if we can get any more retired greyhounds other than those that may be returned to the organization to be placed under our care again. Sometime unforeseen situations arise that the families are no longer able to care for their greyhounds and MGAP always takes them back and finds them new loving homes. We also take in other breeds as well - if you know of anyone looking to surrender their dog to a good rescue group, please have them email [email protected] Thanks all and stay safe!!

UPDATE: Ruby is a sweet loving dog who is very happy. Her tail almost never stops wagging! She's happy to play for a bit and then nap with you. I find she's a lot like the greyhounds in that she gets bursts of energy then crashes for a while. She's such a goofball and very people oriented. She hasn't bothered my allergies, but she isn't a hypoallergenic breed. She might shed as much as a greyhound. Not a whole lot. I haven't had to increase my vacuuming much at all. She see...ms to do perfectly fine when I've had to go out. She appreciates attention much like the Grey's do. She only barks occasionally and generally when she's trying to play. She's not one for alert barking when someone arrives or if she hears stuff going on. She's still adjusting to our house and routine but she's doing well. She makes us smile every day with her personality and quirks.

Update on the Mix breed we just placed...."Lilo"~! She is having a blast in her new home! Awesome family! Awesome fit! Remember - if you know of a local dog who needs a home - please keep MGAP in Mind!!!

FOUND! Thank you to all those who helped us!! You know who you are and I appreciate it so very much! MISSING FEMALE GREYHOUND WHITE AND RED - picture attached NAME: FANIE... BATHURST: Hospital area - her home is 955 Westmount Bathurst NB BRING: sardines, dog treats or hotdogs, a squawker or LOUD squeaker, and leash and collar. Do not CHASE! She is scared. Stay calm, speak sweetly and offer treats - toss from a distance to gain her trust. Call me at once if you see her. They tend to stay around backyards and she will no doubt be seeking shade and need water. Lots of woods and fields in the area. I have then contacting the police, Spca, local vet, radio and they have already done FB. Lilo did very well with her cat test. There is an adoption pending on her right now but will keep you posted if that doesnt go through. Such a smart, sweet girl. Loves her frisbee. Thanks Melissa for fostering Lilo for us! :)
