Back to yellow! We’re awaiting info on what changes this means for our industry and our shop, we’ve had a few calls questioning what changes this brings but we ourselves are just waiting for the word from our association before making a post with the wrong info. We will update the page as soon as we get the official answers. We are cutting at this time and will update as soon as possible with what changes have come with the transition to yellow. Hey everyone, saint john has moved back to the orange phase but with our covid plans and some adjustments to our services we will remain open! As set forth by our association and the province - all clients must have an appointment... - all clients must answer the covid questions before being allowed in to the establishment -the only service barbers may provide are haircuts (unfortunately beard trims/shaves are not permitted during the orange phase) -there is no waiting in the shop at this time, and no one who is not receiving a haircut is permitted to be in the shop at this time. We look forward to being here and remaining open even though our services have been restricted, it beats being closed down as it would have under the old rules. To inform our clients, masks are now mandatory as per the public order. We are by appointment ONLY at this time and we ask you call to make an appointment as drop bys to book appointments will be asked to call. With limited waiting space we ask you arrive a few minutes before your appointment, and please bring NO guests with you for your appointment (with the exception of one parent/guardian with kids). Working on a few new things to announce later this week. One of which is going to be a contest for our clients here at the shop!! Were also looking at making a few new options available to our clients. Covid had its set backs but if youre not moving forward your just standing still. Happy to let our clients know were finally getting back to a less crowded schedule! With the changes and the dire need for everyone to get a haircut after the quarantine we were booking pretty far out but things seem to be calming down a little and appointments are more readily available within a day or two. Same day bookings are still pretty unlikely unless we have a cancelation but call and book to get cleaned up before Canada day!

On behalf of maritime cuts and all small local business id like to make it very clear that no shows for an appointment is unacceptable. Were a small local business whos client intake has been cut in half because of the rules in place for covid19. Anyone who books and no shows will be placed on our do not book list until they pay for their missed appointment. Were booking a week and a half out right now and could easily fill your appointment with even a few hours notice but when you simply do not show up we have no time to fill our already reduced appointments. Be considerate and call to cancel if you cannot make it.

Were glad to be back at it! Lots of changes to make sure everyone stays safe here at maritime cuts. We want to thank everyone for their patience right now its a busy time, everyone in the WORLD needs a cut right now. Weve had some small price changes for the first time in seven years. Cuts-$22 Beard trim and line up-$12 Kids and seniors (5yrs-12yrs)&(65+)-$17 Cut and beard trim/lineup combo-$27... We ask you read our post last post before booking as it contains information pertaining to the changes weve made to be covid-19 compliant. We ONLY take phone appointments, no walk-ins and no facebook booking. Call between 10am and 7pm monday to friday or 12pm-6pm on saturdays to book an appointment. Good news for us AND you STARTING M...ONDAY AT 10AM we will be accepting calls for appointments and well begin cutting Monday May 25th 2020 Were spending our weekend readying the shop to open with the new COVID 19 rules and social distancing for our location. - Starting 10AM this monday we will be excepting calls for appointments. -There will be NO walk-ins, it is by appointment only and by PHONE ONLY (please do not message through fb for appointments) -We will be in compliance with NB covid regulations and enforcing social distancing. (See NB barbers association page for full details) -We will NOT be providing masks to customers but WILL be wearing them ourselves to help to protect you. You may choose to wear a mask, but not all services will be possible if you are wearing one. -We ask that all customers be on time for their appointments but if you are early we will not be able to allow you to wait in the shop as we are limited for space in order to comply with social distancing regulations. With this in mind we also ask that you not bring anyone but yourself to the appointment. -We are discontinuing hot towel and full face shaves for the time being, beard trims and line ups will still be available. -Due to incurred costs we will be changing our pricing, but as minimally as we can. A new list of prices will be posted to the page as well as in the shop before Monday and as soon as possible. -Were looking forward to seeing you all as much as youre looking forward to seeing us. For the first few weeks we will be booking hourly to ensure we have the proper time to clean and sanitize (although services will not take that long to be completed).
