The game on Monday, March 1st between the Pictou County Weeks Junior A Crushers and Summerside Western Capitals (@SSideCapitals) at Credit Union Place has been moved to Friday, March 5th at 6 p.m. The game on Tuesday, March 16th between Summerside and the Truro Junior 'A' Bearcats at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre has moved to Tuesday, March 23rd at 7 p.m.

(January 11, 2021) Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and health zone regulations in New Brunswick, the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) is postponing another week of games in the Eastlink North division. The seven games impacted are as follows: January 13th - Campbellton Tigers Jr. A Hockey Club (Official / Officielle) at Grand Falls Rapids - Rapides de Grand-Sault... January 14th - Miramichi Timberwolves at Summerside Western Capitals (@SSideCapitals) January 15th - Summerside at Campbellton January 16th - Grand Falls at Fredericton Red Wings January 16th - Blizzard d'Edmundston at Miramichi January 16th - Campbellton at Summerside January 17th - Edmundston at Grand Falls An announcement will be made when these games are rescheduled. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Truro, N.S. (January 8, 2021) The Nova Scotia government announced on Friday that the COVID-19 restrictions introduced before Christmas will be extended until 11:59 p.m. on January 24th. Those rules include limiting sports practices to 25 participants without physical distancing, with games and tournaments not permitted. As a result, the Maritime Junior Hockey League’s (MHL) six Nova Scotia teams will continue the current pause in their 2020-21 regula...r season schedules. As a result, the following games will be postponed: January 15th - Pictou County Weeks Junior A Crushers at Amherst Jr. 'A' Ramblers January 15th - Truro Junior 'A' Bearcats at Valley Wildcats Hockey January 15th - South Shore Lumberjacks Jr. A Hockey at Yarmouth Jr. A Mariners January 16th - South Shore at Amherst January 16th - Yarmouth at Truro January 16th - Pictou County at Valley January 22nd - Amherst at Truro January 22nd - Pictou County at South Shore January 23rd - Valley at Amherst January 23rd - South Shore at Truro January 23rd - Pictou County at Yarmouth An announcement will be made when these games are rescheduled. Grand Falls Rapids - Rapides de Grand-Sault Isaac Dixon recovering after serious injury The Grand Falls Rapids say defenseman Isaac Dixon has begun rehabilitation after sustaining a serious back injury during the 3rd period of the December 30th game in Edmundston. The team says that the 18-year-old, who is in his second year in the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL), underwent surgery on New Year's Eve to repair and stabilize broken vertebrae. Dixon was able to get back on h...is feet and take a few steps for the first time on Tuesday. The team says Dixon will transfer to the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation in Fredericton. The Rapids have been providing updates on Dixon's condition since the injury occurred. The hockey community throughout the region has shown its support, including numerous teams and players. The MHL wishes Dixon a full and speedy recovery from this injury. Studio Martine Caron
