Hi Everyone, Have you ever considered the advantages of a Sports School for your child? We are inviting all student-athletes who are interested in joining the Maritime Varsity Academy's Hockey Canada Skills Development Program for the 2017-18 School Year to join us for a FREE on ice development session this Sunday, May 28th!... The Skills Session will be lead by our on ice coaching staff of Erin King, Chris Woodford and Todd Bengert. A Reception will occur for families interested in learning about our academic and athletic programming. Congratulations to MVA Grade Nine Student, Joe Chambers for helping his team win the silver medal this past weekend at the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Provincial Tournament in Berwick. Joe, a goaltender with the Dartmouth Whalers, posted a 2.00 goals against average in the tournament and was recognized by being chosen to the tournament all-star team! MVA alumni, Oscar Plandowski, a member of the Halfax Accel Hawks, was recognized by being chosen to the leagues rookie all star ...team at this year's award ceremony. Congratulations to both players for a job well done! #mvaproud

Congratulations to Maritime Varsity Academy Alumni Matthew Highmore on his contract with the Chicago Blackhawks!! Matthew attended MVA from 2008 to 2010 and has visited our school many times over the years since giving advice to our student-athletes. Matthew was recognized at his time with MVA as having an exceptional work ethic both on the ice and in the classroom. Well done Matthew! Proof again that hard work does pay off! We are so proud of you!

Great to see former MVA students Tyler and Evan coming home to play former classmate Jared McIsaac and the Halifax Mooseheads! With John Greenwood on the bench, it looks like MVA will be well represented at Scotiabank Center tonight!
