Jasper has just received two more of the Log benches we create. These two Grace the shores of Lake Edith. What a view!
The Canoe structure at the Hinton museum is still under construction. Rick, Brian, Mark and Travis put a couple of hours into the project on Wednesday and Thursday. With a generous donation of lumber from West Fraser the roof decking was nailed down on Wednesday and on Thursday the sheet metal was installed. This display will protect the canoe from the elements for many years into the future.

Thanks go to Joan Melvin for capturing this moment of the crew toasting the job and enjoying A Coffee and treats from Tim Hortons.

We have just finished the erection of this Timber and log shed roof, a structure for the Athabasca River Voyageur Brigade Canoe Society. Located at the Northern Rockies Museum in Hinton Alberta this building will house a 26’ canoe which represents the History of the fur trade and its influence in this part of Canada. Thanks to Rick, Brian and Lorraine for bringing us this unique project.

This project has moved along amazingly. We only have the finishing touch of a stair rail to add and this project will be ready to ship.
A beautiful rainbow kind of morning. Get your own little pot of gold! We have been busy with all types of logwork lately. Tables, Benches, Stairs, Gates to name a few. Please get ahold of us for your garden or property needs.
The Hanington Cabin had a little visit from Mark, Eric Travis and Timber today. We finished up our work on this wonderful little escape in the wilderness with the install of a picture window and a hand made door in the west side of the building. We have enjoyed this job immensely and again would like to thank everyone who has made it happen.
A collaboration with the talented John Clark for another local project.
When John Clark of Rocky Mountain Log Works asked Mark if he wanted to collaborate on a spiral staircase in his home town of Jasper Alberta Mark jumped at the chance. Over the last 3 Weeks the two old friends have been working away on this wonderful piece and enjoying every moment of the process. Some big thanks must go to the Brown family in Jasper for approaching John to do the job for them. Look forward to seeing photos of this stair in place when it is installed next week.
Three Luggage stations have been fabricated at our logyard over the past few weeks. We have delivered two of the structures this week and will return next week to do a bit of carpentry work and finish up the roof systems on the first two. Concrete is curing and we will have to wait for another ten days until we install anchors for the last frame. It is always wonderful to work in Jasper amongst the beautiful Rockies
