WE ARE OPEN!!!! We are excited to announce the re-opening of the Markham Pain Clinic. Although we had remained available to treat acute conditions during the past two months, on May 26, the Chief Medical Officer of Ontario stated that Health Care Practitioners can begin to treat all patients. This allows us to return to serve our patients and welcome new ones however the threat of Covid-19 is still present. ... We are here to say that the health and welfare of our patients and staff remain our priority. We understand that some patients will be concerned or even scared about returning for treatment. We have gone above and beyond with modified and new procedures, guided by recommendations by our association and the Ministry of Health, to help limit this risk. Here are some things that we have done: * Screening processes to ensure that no one with Covid-19 symptoms comes to the clinic * Use of masks by all staff and patients to prevent transmission during visits * Limiting the amount of patients and traffic at the clinic * Hygenic and disinfecting procedures to prevent contamination of high touch areas such as treatment tables and apparatus Our massage therapists are excited in coming back and will be return in the near future.
