Unfortunately due to the new provincial testing guidelines (and after contacting every type of testing/assessment centre) I am no longer eligible to get tested on a bi-weekly basis. That being said, with 4 months of bi-weekly negative tests behind me, it is evident that the hygiene protocols I've been following in my practice have done and will continue to do their job

Who wants $25 to spend?! Who's willing to wear a mask?! We can all probably agree that 2020 has been a crazy year, to say the least! All that craziness definitely affected all of us in one way or another. For me, I had to shutter my massage practice. It sucked but I knew it had to be done for the greater good. Thankfully, as we all do our part, our communities have been able to gradually and cautiously (wear masks, social distance, isolate if sick) reopen, including my practi...ce! Awesome. Our communities include a lot of small and independent businesses like mine, so this is what I've decided to do: If you, post a selfie of you wearing your mask and include the name of a local business in your community you'd spend that $25 in (ie restaurant, hair dresser, shop etc) in the comments section of this post, you could be one of four people I choose at random to receive $25 CAD to spend in your community. If you are chosen, I will e-transfer you the money or send it via Canada Post. That's all you gotta do. You don't have to like my page. You don't have to fill out any forms. You just got to be willing to wear a mask and spend $25 on a small business in your community *Contest closes at 4pm EST Saturday July 11th. Winners will be notified shortly after that *This is not a forum to debate mask wearing. All posts that do not adhere to the noted comments request will be deleted. Thanks.

Hi All! I'm back massaging again, yay! The world has changed and with that so has how you get massages now. Here (picture attached) are the things you should expect from your massage therapists from now on. ... Also, your therapist must have completed the 10 module online certification course, Infection Prevention and Controls (IPAC) and the Hand Hygiene online certification course, as mandated by the Ontario government. I have completed mine and am happy to show them upon request Also, registered massage therapists were not mandated to get tested for Covid-19 prior to returning to practice, although I have chosen to get tested bi-weekly for the foreseeable future and will be happy to share my test results upon request also. FYI - negative as of June 30th.

Hi Everyone! Here's my exciting announcement I promised to post Monday until I mixed a little procrastination into my days. As of October 1st I have now added a charitable component to my massage business. For a $10 donation to my charity of the month, I will add an additional 10 minutes to your massage. Depending on which charity I will be collecting for, the donation may be monetary or something else.... This month I am collecting for the Fare Share Food Bank in Oakville. In November, I will be collecting for Chum City Christmas Wish and December will be a split donation for various animal rescues So if you book a massage in October and would like to donate $10 or bring in a brown bag of donations* (like the brown donation bags we see at grocery stores), I will happily reward you with some extra massage time *For grocery donations, the food bank is in desperate need of canned meat and fish, canned pasta (ravioli, etc.), jam, coffee, tea, crackers, cold cereal, size 6 diapers, powdered baby formula, rice, cookies and pancake mix (complete). Items not needed at this time include protein beans, dry pasta, oatmeal, tuna and small soups. Thanks All! I really am hoping to make this a successful endeavor! Happy day! Mark
