It has been a learning experience, and we are humbled by the generosity of all of the family and friends that have contributed to this years tournament.

In the past hole sponsorships were not allowing us to give you a donation receipt for advertising your business or your own personal hole but this year because of Covid there will be no signs at the holes so with that being said we can now give donation receipts. It will be classified as a straight up donation. Your donation can be in whatever denomination that you are comfortable with. If it goes under a business we have a website for THE 7TH ANNUAL MARK NANTAIS MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT that will be advertised through the A,L.S.O website that will acknowledge you and your business. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT THE 7TH ANNUAL MARK NANTAIS MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT (2020) A big thanks to everyone who has participated in the past but due to Covid-19, we have been faced with the difficult decision to change things up this year in our quest in keeping Mark’s memory and legacy alive. We are pleased to advise you that we have decided to continue the fundraising for A.L.S.O and Neighbours Who Care through golfing at your leisure and by having a virtual Silent Auction.... We will also have the infamous MARK’S FAVOURITE THINGS basket. This year our Plan B for holding his tournament will be: - Golfing at Fox Glen Golf Course from July 1st to August 15th. (For out of town golfers please contact Jo-Anne to make special arrangements) Golfers can golf and still support ALSO, but on their own timetable. We would require a copy of your scorecard to either be sent by e-mail ([email protected]) or to be left with the course after your game. This would still allow us to assign prizes to the winners. The cost to participate will be $130.00. The Silent Auction will be held online - we will be giving further instructions soon. It will be open from August 1st to August 15th, 2020. We will also continue having sponsorships as we have in the past and we have a website and social media accounts that we will be able to share and advertise your business through. These will now be considered donation and will be receiving a donation receipt. - You will be able to pay for sponsorships or golfers’ registration by credit card or e-transfer. - If you would like, you will also have the option to donate funds directly to the organization in Mark’s memory. This is the program that The Mark Nantais Memorial Golf Tournament has supported for the past 2 years. Such a terrific program assisting people in need. Sorry it took so long to post this but we were waiting for all the donations to come in but we are now here to tell you that we were able to raise $32,000 for ALSO/Neighbors Who Care equipment program. We would like to take this time to thank you all, for without you, none of this would have been possible.
