I am posting this in hopes that it reaches the person who took the time to write this hatred. I just wanted to say you should be ashamed of yourself. It makes me sad that even today people think they are better than anyone else.

Home insurance is not regulated like auto insurance and each policy wording can be different. You should always make sure you know what you purchased. Ensure all information is correct as it could affect you in the event of a claim. Something as simple as not having your mortgage listed on your policy co...uld impact the rate you are charged as well as if you are covered if a claim happens. I would also like to highlight a section 6 the attached Financial Services Commission of Ontario's article that states: "Don't switch insurance companies midway through the policy. Wait until renewal time to avoid a cancellation penalty."
