Hi ya'll! CRAZY TIMES RIGHT NOW! Just thought I'd let you all know that since Covid lockdown has begun in Alberta, we are lucky that Palliser regional school district is having my kids grade 7 and grade 10. Do online schooling to finish there current curriculum. Which is great because Mark and our family just started to normalize in ourlives recently. Mark just returned back to school this past September and now he is not in school anymore, it broke our hearts to be stuck ...back in isolation. We've been living in a germ free, paranoid environment for 3 years! Just as we get back into the swing of things BAM COVID. FCK YOU COVID. SERIOUSLY. BUT it is better then what we were dealing with in the past. I unfortunately my hubby and I still have to work in the healthcare feild/ Railway and am taking triple the precautions to protect ourselves and our family. Mark and Amarah had there 1st day for online schooling yesterday, they did google video calls with there teachers and had a online video gym class. They enjoyed it, had fun and less stressed about all the school stuff they have to do. They get 1 week to finish there uploaded assignments. Lucky buggers. Overall still feeling overwhelmed but slowly getting back into the isolation periods again and having raw hands from washing and using sanitizers constantly. I hope you are all staying safe and healthy and clean and staying @ home if you are not an essential worker. Protect yourselves and others during this crazy time. Much love everyone

Hello everyone It has been awhile I hope everyone's 2020 has been good so far! i just wanted to share that Mark had finished his first semester of Grade 10. He did really good considering he has missed 2 full grades. I tryed helping him with his Math homework and yikes hahah i need some practice! We go for scans in April for our follow up with our Oncologist. Soon this will be a thing of the past, and we are slowly normalizing back. ... Mark and I were thinking about doing some stand up for cancer fundraising/marathon this summer in Calgary, and other foundtions that help with Ronald Mcdonald House and Alberta Childrens Hospital through Make a Wish, donate some efforts into helping with any volunteer work and events for parents and kids like ourselves! Thanks Everyone! Much love, prayers, support XOXO

Happy Holidays Everyone! It has been awhile since we posted, sorry there has not been much to update. Mark is doing well, he has been finishing school for this semester right where he left off! As if nothing ever happened! We have a few more medical apts and scans coming up, and as far as we know we are doing very good for recovery. We've had a couple scary moments these past few months but they had been expected due to the chemo side affects. We are praying we dont have... anymore of those instances. We got a new puppy in September who has been a great distraction and loving companion for our family. His name is Zeus! We also went on a family fishing trip to mexico in November. This was a trip planned long before mark was diagnosed. This was a trip we prayed and envisioned mark and family going to. We were so very happy that we made it that far! That trip will forever be in our memory books. Thank you to all our family and friends for helping us over the past few years, it has been crazy. 2020 will be even better for e everybody! Love you all! xoxoxo Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! See more
