Manage daily operations of the store, including sales, customer relations, shipping/receiving, and inventory management, safety, and facility maintenance. Be a product knowledge leader for a full line of quality brand-name auto, small engine, and trailer parts. As a working manager, serve customers at the counter, source parts, and provide product information. Maintain regular customer communication and resolve customer concerns. Work closely with the Service Departments to facilitate efficient back counterparts support. Manage staff and assign work activities. Coach and provide guidance and training as needed. Facilitate and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including sales reporting, cash handling, inventory, and health & safety. Maintain efficient workflow for technicians. Ensure technicians are working at high levels, delivering quality service; maintain the customer. Set schedules for technicians and other service personnel. Review technicians’ work for accuracy and completeness Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers. Respond to all questions, problems, and requests in an attentive, helpful and timely manner. Skills and Experience Required: Must have technical knowledge Excellent communication skills Computer proficient Microsoft products are an asset Knowledge of manufacturer warranty programs Ability to manage parts inventory Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record Experience managing and dispatching service work Must be able to manage a team of technicians Professional references to verify experience, expertise, and skills Qualifications: Knowledge of automotive and trailer parts is an important part of the job, or at least comparable experience parts sales. Excellent customer service, communication, and selling skills are key, along with good memory recall and numerical ability. Basic computer knowledge and experience with inventory control software is desirable, along with experience in a face pace environment. Ability to be physically active on a daily basis, plus moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
