Next Saturday at Saskatoon Makerspace, I'll be volunteering to do small jewellery repairs, so if you have a broken chain or loose prongs, check it out. Since I'm not bringing my whole studio, there are limited things that I'll be able to do, but I can certainly take a look. (Plus, last time, Road Coffee set up a waffle bar, so you might want to come just for that if they're doing it again.)

I've been using a broken old school desk for my soldering station for years... I think it's time I upgraded. Maybe I'll win the #FixMyBench contest that @StullerInc is running I could pick up item 13-0436 the Jewelers Bench with Surell Surface (it's heat resistant!) or perhaps put the prize towards a bench microscope (26-5101 Acrobat Versa & Leica A60 Complete Package). Sadly my 2019-2020 Tools Equipment and Metals catalogue hasn't arrived yet, so I don't know what page the...y're on. Hope they still let me enter! #StullerBenchPro
