Mark Your Moments Weddings

Hello Everyone. What a crazy few months we have been through?! To all the Bride and Grooms out there who have had to rearrange their special day, I feel for you. I have had a lot of experience with weddings and the work that goes into planning them. Aside from my own wedding, I used to be a wedding/event planner, I've made and delivered many wedding cakes ( I am culinary trained), and of course, have been capturing weddings for almost 6 years. I can only imagine what you are... going through. I'm sharing an image today of a wedding I will never forget! These absolutely lovely people were from Williams Lake. In 2017 they had their wedding planned in Kamloops. Williams Lake was sadly under devastation with a fire. Their wedding was missing so many elements from dresses, the cake, guests to groomsmen, and bridesmaids. The reason it stuck with me was that they were very much in love. Happy to be there and really celebrating each other. Of course, they were sad that the wedding didn't work out as planned, but overjoyed to have the wedding.

Happy Monday! Attention newly engaged couples or anyone starting to plan their wedding. Before selecting your wedding photographer, I always suggest trying out a session with that person first! It's the best way to get to know your photographer, feel comfortable and confident in the way they capture you and present the images! ... We now charge $175 for a 30 minute engagement session which includes 10 digitally edited images. I also refund this amount if you book any of our 6 - 10 hour wedding packages. Happy Spring! I always find this page goes a little dormant when the Wedding Season is quiet. So, I'm bringing it back to life! Starting with the cover image from the first bride I ever professionally captured! ( I was always that friend at weddings who took a hundred photos, and probably annoyed the hired photographers - sorry, I didn't know)!... As we are deep in snow, I am reminded of this summer wedding in Sun Peaks, Kamloops! Taking pictures at the top of the ski hill in summer is really fun ( and a chair lift)!
