It has been such a good summer for us here on the farm. We were able to focus on what we have had our eyes on for a while now. Once the cattle were all out to pasture, we switched gears to another passion. Growing flowers! Over the past few years I have been collecting perennials. Last year I almost tripled my perennial plant count! The blooms were unreal this year minus some serious blight issues thanks to the wet start of summer, but hey I’ll take it! Along with the perenn...ials I tried my hand at a large in ground annual cut flower garden. I was super impressed with the production we got this year with the limited space and wet spring. We were so happy we were able to supply quite a few clients with bouquets this year! I’m so excited to see what next year has in store for us including a wedding and a couple other events! And yes I’m already planning! Here are some of the blooms we still have coming, even at the end of August! See more
