PSA especially female commenters I just got notice that a person was posting alot of replies on the page. I decided to see what they were posting and couldn't believe it. It was JAMES SMART I do believe it was a troll account. It was sending replies to female comments asking stuff that was totally inappropriate. I have taken down and banned all his posts and messages and banned him from the page. Just watch out in your private messages for him. Delete any messages from him and do not open. Stay safe all

Cant say when a hive gives you that fire sound that I havent backed away. 60 000 honey bees in a hive and not happy definatly makes even the best beekeeper take a step back. Cant wait till the girls start to reemerge after the syrup season has past

It's the preparing time of year. So heres the question. Is there enough interest in me doing a bunch of comb honey. I will judge the amount of interest by how many shares and likes on this post. It's always hard to decide where to invest the money for next season so if you want comb honey LIKE and SHARE and that way I can check this posts analytics later and see if there is enough interest. If there is I will invest in doing a bunch of comb honey this year. If there is more than 100 responses I will invest the capital this spring

The govt is back to trying to kill small buisness but allowing the big chain stores to be open. Its Firefighter Appreciation Day. Always training for the worst situations and hoping that we never have to use it. But if needed, soon as the tone goes off we suit up in bunker gear and head to the emergency without hesitation. So thank a firefighter.

Back up and filling jars. New replacement spring came In for the bottler so its fill, cap, and label time then repeat. Will be refilling stores in the morning so if your local store was out a freshly bottled run is on the way.

This years maple syrup run was a complete success. Total sellout in record time and even preorders for next year. So thanks to everyone who got the chance to try and purchase. With all the sales it looks like there will be 6 more hives added to the treehouse this summer. So the bees thank you all.

What to do on a crappy day. Might as well build a maple syrup stove. Great morning with Lloyd up at Ed's machine shop in keswick ridge NB. (Ps great machine shop he can fix darn near anything or build from scratch). Now that the stove is ready, getting the custom stainless steel pans built at another friends shop and with mother nature help I may just pull this maple syrup season off yet. This old stove is a beast and should make some awesome syrup for decades to come.

To answer the questions about giveaways. Yes I still do giveaways, but i also watch to who is SHARING POSTS at random and give stuff away all the time. More fun to see who is actually sharing posts and rewarding them. Problem is when running a contest anyone can comment or like a post and is entered but I prefer to give stuff to loyal customers/ followers. I much rather give awesome gifts to you all. Working on the last few items on the check list for maple syrup season. Evaperator should be completed this week and lines will start to go up soon. Might just pull it off this year if mother nature allows

If I were to do deliveries in different towns/cities and did preorders for gifts and baskets would this be of interest. All orders would have to be prepaid and no contact. You would recieve ur package from the end of a hockey stick so we could social distance. I could save people shipping fees this way. Just wondering if this would be of interest

Here are some of the basket ideas I put together just for fun. Basically you can add or take out whatever items you would like. As a standard so far I have honey, lipbalm, body balm, soap, maple syrup, coffee, bathbombs in stock but give me ideas and I'll see what I can come up with. Standard baskets are between 20 and 50 dollars but can be made to order with whatever you like.

Forgot pics in first post Well the kiddo has been hard at it filling orders for stores and personal orders. Here are a few shots of the ones going to The Oromocto Galleria tomorrow. Amazing how many kids are asking for them to be put in as stocking stuffers. These will definately be part of xmas baskets this year..

Normally on this day I would be in Millville observing the Remembrance day ceremonies but this year is different. So at 11:00 I will be stopping the chainsaw and will be reflecting on the sacrifices made by past and present military that fight or have fought to secure our freedom and way of life . So I hope everyone does the same and take the time of silence and show the men and women the respect they deserve.

Had alot of messages asking why I've been so quiet here on the page. There is a reason and as of Monday I will start posting alot more again. Just a few things in the last few weeks have happened some exciting and some just keeping me swamped. But I will start posting again soon.

First honey bee presentation since spring. Alot different presenting to a small group to follow the social distancing rules than the normal 100 or more but all good. Young kids up to mature adults in attendance. Hopefully everyone walked away with alot of new info and maybe even a few new beekeepers in the future.
