"What I’m looking for is not out there, it is in me" - Helen Keller It is in you, what you are looking for! ... When you decide on a goal, that is you making that decision. When you go for that walk or workout class, that is you going for the exercise. When you make that post/write that email/send that text, that is you! We have to follow our gut feelings, our intuition, our hearts. Would you agree with this? Are you listening to you? #intution #gutfeeling #heart #decisions #goals #support #onlinecoach #personaltrainer #onlinetrainer #bootcamp #groupclasses #mindset #meditation #reflect #refelctions #fitmama #momoffour #twinmama #cardio #running #keepfocused #keepmoving #keeplifting #Gratitude #grateful #selfcare #selftalk

Reposted from @nosugar_added_tips Reposted from @movingdietitian It’s not just about low vs high GI! Read the whole post GI or Glycemic index is the measure of the effect of carbohydrate on blood glucose levels. Following a low GI diet has been shown to have positive effects on weight & chronic disease, while high GI is detrimental.... High GI foods are broken down and absorbed quickly into our blood steam leading to a spike in blood glucose levels which promotes a spike in insulin. This spike and crash of insulin promotes fat storage and also leaves you feeling hungry sooner. Low GI foods lead to a steadier and more controlled rise and fall of blood glucose levels. Low GI therefore keeps you fuller for longer. Tuesday's food for thought. What are your thoughts on this? Would you agree? Have you ever felt that spike and then crash when you ate something from the HIGH GI foods? #nutrition #highglycemicindex #lowglycemicindex #healthylifestyle #fruitsandveggies #greens #veggies #legumes #beans #insulin #eatclean

Reposted from @drmarkhyman Despite what popular magazines might say, if you think you can exercise your way to weight loss, I am sorry to say you are in for a big disappointment. Using exercise to lose weight without changing your diet is asking for failure. You can change your diet and lose weight, but if you exercise and keep your diet the same, you may gain some muscle, improve endurance, and be healthier overall, but you won’t shed many pounds. ... Nutrition plays a big part. Would you agree? #bootcamp #personaltrainer #groupclasses #fitmama #health #wellness #fitness #nutrition #balance #healthbalance #muscleconditioning #weightloss #strengthtraining #musclegain
