Twas a crispy start today. Would be nice if it would warm up just a bit for us.

This is what we've been up to the last 2 weeks. Over 1,700 km haul on this job. We loaded this RTM from Ridgeview Homes in Steinbach and took it on a bit if a journey going out to Blackfalds Alberta. Google maps says its 1,395 km. But at 7.47m (24'6") loaded height, that meant alot of routing along high load corridors through the 3 provinces. We started on Dec. 2nd, the last truck pulled back on the yard this morning after 12 days on the road.... We hauled this house 1,750km (1,087 miles) which is not only our farthest move we have ever done, but also unofficially breaks the Guinness Book World Record for farthest building relocation on beams and dollies. Big thanks to the linesmen from MB Hydro, SaskPower, AltaLink, Fortis, EQUS, and ATCO for assistance with power lines. This was a challenge to line everything up to keep it going smoothly and it feels good to be back home. It wasn't a fun one and was tough being gone way longer than normal, so another big thanks to the guys in our crew as well for making this one happen.

This week started with a move from @starreadytomovehomes going out to Whitewood, Sk.

Grabbed this RTM from Marvin Homes this morning. Made our way out to Hadashville, right next to another very similar house we moved last year. We had it backed over the foundation pretty quickly and had everything set down, packed up and headed home by 3.

Heres a job we finished up last week. For this one we were saving the old basement instead of breaking holes for our beams. This meant jacking up about 3 feet before we could get beams under.

Different meaning to "early friday" for us this morning. We left home around 230 am,moved a portable classroom into Winnipeg. We had it moved, on the foundation and headed home before school started. Then quickly hauled a garage back to our shop and loaded up beams and wheels for the next job. ... I guess 12 hours of work is technically a half day of work.

Another short haul today. We took this house from Vogt Building Construction in Steinbach and brought it to Richer, Mb. Got it moved this morning and set down this afternoon.

Hit the road with a tall one today. Was a short haul with this one going from Rosenort to Otterburne.

Looks like we are having a garage sale. Ready for delivery, we have one double car garage. Overall size is 24x32. Garage portion is 24x24 with an 8' room in the back. 2x4 walls.
