Happy Halloween!!! Here is a fun fact about Halloween in Mexico: Halloween is not actually celebrated in Mexico, not the tradition of children going door to door "trick or treating" and collecting candy. What is celebrated is Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos). It is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. ... The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration takes place on November 1, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day which happens on November 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. They also leave possessions of the deceased.

Here is the 1st installment of a regular post that we will sharing ideas, tips and helpful information about flooring and related topics. Let us know if there any questions you have that we might be able shed some light on by sending us a message/post. Why is Bamboo considered an Eco Friendly Floor: Bamboo has gained a reputation as an eco-friendly flooring option as it is highly renewable source of material. Compared to wood it grows much faster because bamboo is a grass not a wood. It takes about 35 years for bamboo to reach full maturity. Traditional hard woods can take 20120 years to mature.
