I love trees especially cedars. On my street there are many that are very, very tall and they are slowling being chopped down for townhouses etc. It makes me so sad. I love walking around the block here and see the trees and listening to the birds. A while ago I took a camera with me and photographed all of them so I could look at the photos after all I see is townhouses or condos.

I'd like to visit this some day. I'm so sad I can't get to Ireland this year eigher. I've only got so many travel years left before I'm too old to travel alone.

I haven't done any art since Covid started so decided to warm up with sketches. This is a bridge in Kinsale, Ireland - to the best of my memory.

Ireland in the olden days. I'm Irish in my soul even if I was raised in Canada. On my 1st trip back to Ireland my cousin Patsy and I took an overnight ferry from Liverpool to Belfast. In the morning I came on deck just as the ship pulled into Belfast harbour and these words and a sense of peace came into my mind "I'm home". I have no doubt your tied to the land you were born in.
