Open Farm Days was a success! We had the bus down for a lovely lunch we prepared with StonePost farms chicken, Barb's bakery, U-Pick it and Cold Creek - menu was smoked chicken salad (on our own applewood), salad with raspberry vinegrette, honeyberry soda, and honeyberry or rhubarb strawberry mini-pies made by Cooking with Jax. Many hands on board for the day - lots of great visiting with friends old and new - and on to the next tour stop - local brewery! Today we got a m...essage for some cucumbers but the # left was not right - the gentleman on the other end was kind enough to call back and let us know - so if YOU are looking for cucumbers - we have some picked and ready. Also available - limited quantities due to the area floods - peas, yellow and green beans, carrots, onions, radish, lettuce, swiss chard and of course honeyberries !
