Lieba Muetten, Happy Mothers Day! The most rewarding job in this world. Staying close to our children as they grow in a complicated world is very challenging. My boy is grown, but on Mother’s Day, I look back with sentiment and gratitude. I also feel the need to recognize mothers who did not have the support I had and send double blessings their way. And to mothers who are angels of mercy to children who fall between the cracks. They are the true unsung heroes and angels in our society. I know many of them. Bless you! Bless you! #happymothersday

Age has its perks! I had my first Covid shot 3 days ago and I encourage everyone who's eligible to get theirs so we can see each other again! The benefits far outweigh the risks. No one can guarantee we'll come home safely from the grocery store but we go anyway. I was given AstraZeneca. The health care provider went over all the possible side effects and asked about any underlying conditions before administering the shot. It was painless. I didn't feel any side effects on the first day. The nurse cautioned that I might feel tired with achy muscles which I did the next day. She advised taking Advil. My husband encouraged me to drink lots of water (He had a Pfizer shot 2 wks ago). I'm feeling all better today. #Thankful #igotvacinnated

Seasons Greetings from my family to yours from some of the best cross-country ski trails in North America. We are fortunate to live in a winter paradise. This year has been difficult. Political rhetoric and the pandemic has divided us. We have never needed the Christmas message of "Peace on earth and goodwill to All" more than this moment.
