You know what? I don’t hate Monday’s. And no I’m not going to preach the do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life anthem. Because for starters, I don’t believe that. I think you can have your absolute dream job and still wake up some days and just wanna stay in bed & watch Netflix. I like Monday’s (I mean, usually) because it feels like a fresh start. A new week to crush goals, make all the to do lists and begin again. Plus it’s @bacheloretteabc nights with the girls.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared this before but when I first applied for a mortgage, I couldn’t get one. My mortgage broker looked at me and said why do you have an unpaid eastlink bill? I had no idea what he was talking about. It turns out I had a $65 unpaid cable bill from my time in university that I had no idea about! (Or at least forgot about lol) AND they sent me to collections! I paid it off immediately but it took about 6 months for my credit to bounce back and I was... finally approved. My point is even if you aren’t ready to buy a house, it’s important to check in with a mortgage broker. They can help you to check your credit score, make a plan and help you on the right path to get to the pre-approval stage. IT CAN BE SCARY I KNOW. But walking out of the bank that day, (even after hearing terrible news) I felt good because I knew where I stood financially and what I needed to do to get to where I wanted to be. See more

But guys, I have this ridiculous need to have everything decorated exactly how I want it basically over night (so unrealistic). After moving into a new space are you the type that likes to consider all options and add pieces over time? Or are you completely unrealistic like me and try to get it done in 2 days?

Selling your home and have pets? I recommend removing them during showings. For a few reasons: -For the safety of the pet. (If anyone lost my cat .. ) -Buyers may be concerned about pet damage. -Potential risk of an odour or allergies -Not everyone likes animals ... You should have seen me when I sold my home a few years ago. During showings I would pack up my FOUR cats, their toys and 2 litter boxes and drive around for an hour or so. Glad that’s over.
