It's been well over a year since I showed my face on here. This is me.. the girl behind the camera with my hubby and dog! When I'm not behind the camera or at my full time job in auto insurance, the three of us are usually travelling to lakes on long weekends and fishing all day long and camping on islands far north or at the cottage. Fishing is a huge part of our lives. There is something about being on the water every weekend that makes you relaxed. 2020 was a crazy year but such a success with in my photography business. First ever mini creek sessions where I met new families and weddings where Covid interrupted plans but made for the most special days. 2020 you were quite the year but I wouldn't change a thing. A heartfelt thank you to all my couples, families, babies, etc. Bring on 2021

This morning I walked into my clients house and thought I was in Heaven! Talk about perfect lighting and a beautiful family to go along with it. We had so much fun playing games, reading books and having a dance party in the kitchen! Thank you again for inviting me to capture these moments!

Yesterday marks my third and final wedding for the year. Covid forced Ryerson and Megan to change their Mexico wedding, that was to happen in April, to a small backyard wedding. Covid can't stop love and I loved everything about this laid back wedding. Congratulations you two!

Yesterday we had a fun time running around one of my most photographed locations this year! No complaints as this spot is beautiful and the perfect location for Trevor and Ashley's engagement session. We had some great laughs and makes me excited for their wedding next year!

Wedding #2 of the year was yesterday. It's been a busy couple of days around here! Kurt and Erin said yes on Kurt's family farm and couldn't have picked a better location. We had a fun day exploring the farm and these two definitely know how to throw a party! Congratulations on a beautiful day! xo

Yesterday was my first wedding of the year and it completely filled my soul! Aidan and Amanda had the most perfect day at Elora Mills surrounded by family and friends. I could see the love they have for each other from behind the camera and it was beautiful to witness. Congratulations you two! xo

Jamie and Bethany travelled all the way from Milton for these photos... freaking Milton!! Makes that self doubt, that every photographer gets at times, disappear just a little knowing that a couple will travel that far for your work! Can you believe that Bethany is 34 weeks? I look like that after eating a 10 piece nugget meal Big thanks to you both for such a fun session.

It's so important to get these family photos done and not wait years.. right Nicole?! Thank you to the Kassen family for contacting me to capture these. We sweat our butts off but we had a lot of fun!

** CHRISTMAS MINI UPDATE ** It is with great sadness to let you know that I will not be offering them this year. I sat a long time on this decision because I love my clients and these mini sessions so much but I need to put my health first. The next couple months are so busy and I'm already feeling burnt out; I don't want to push myself any further along with what I have going on in my personal life. Second week of Creek Minis completed tonight! What a success it was. Zero fun had the past few days haha. I'm tired but my heart is so full. Thank you again to all the families who came out! xo

Round 2 of Creek Minis were a success! Some of the kids may have even gone for a little swim tonight.. haha. So much fun!

First day of 'beach mini sessions' were a success! Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to change the location so now I'm calling them 'creek mini sessions'! We had perfect weather, lighting and so much fun playing in the water. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow!

Hello Phase Two!! I'm officially back in business with the green light to start working again today! It was nice to have a little break but I'm ready to pick up my camera again and start doing what I love! ... ** On that note, I am on vacation starting today and returning Wednesday June 24. I will respond to inquiries then! ** Please note that I will not be working any weekends during the July/August months. I am saving those for family time as I do work a full time job as well! Just finished editing my last session of 2019 and couldn't have had a better family to end my year off with! I enjoyed every single wedding, session and mini session I photographed this year. Definitely one for the books. ... I can't wait to do it all over again in 2020! Round #5 today completes this year's mini sessions! Another beautiful day at the farm. I had one family come all the way from Mississauga for a session.. I'm so flattered! Yesterday we unfortunately had to cancel due to rain. But today made up for it. Was a chilly day but round 1 is done of Christmas Mini's!

Friday was my last fall session before the rush of my Christmas Mini's for the next two weekends. Not gonna lie, I originally had today off for an appointment that got cancelled but decided to keep the day off to veg out on the couch all day. It's been amazing to have a break today

Today was the last wedding of the year for me. I couldn't have asked for a better couple to end the wedding season with. Tyler & Jaime had a small intimate wedding and I loved everything about the laid back atmosphere. Thank you for all the laughs and congratulations again!

** Vacation Alert ** In a couple days my husband and I will packing up and heading to Temagami for a camping/fishing trip. I will be out of office with no access to the internet from August 29 - September 4. I will respond to all messages when I return.
