Voici quelques photos partagés par Place des Arts. La section rythmique de Marzo's Latin Big Band, Marzo's Latin Rythm, avec le chanteur/soliste, Arturo Marzoratti, sont ravis d'avoir fait parti de la programmation Pause Estivale à l'Esplanade, le 21 et le 28 août passés. Merci à tout ceux qui ont pu rendre ça possible, et merci à tout ceux qui ont pu être de nôtres.

Au plaisir de vous voir à notre prochain concert, vendredi le 28 août entre 18h et 19h pour notre prise 2!!
Bonjour à tous! Nous sommes heureux de vous présenter notre tout dernier projet! Le vendredi 21 août, Marzo's Latin Big Band a eu l'honneur de se présenter avec sa section rythmique à l'Esplanade de la Place des Arts dans le cadre de la Pause Estivale! Pour des raisons liées à la pandémie, nous n'avons pas pu annoncer à l'avance cette prestation... Maintenant, ça nous fait plaisir de vous annoncer que nous ferons un deuxième concert le vendredi 28 août! Soyez des nôtres! Un grand merci à Roge Studio Photography & Design pour les photos!

Marzo's Latin Big Band is proud to present: Jack Price Bass trombonist Jack is a bass trombonist from Seattle in his first year of study at McGill. He started playing trombone in school but quickly switched to bass trombone and started studying with local trombonist Nathan Vetter. He got involved in various school orchestras and jazz bands at Mercer Island High School and subbed in other groups around Seattle, such as the Jazz Police and Roadside Attraction. Jack was bass tro...mbonist in the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra and played in the All-State and All-Northwest big bands. He is now studying classical bass trombone with Pierre Beaudry and plays in the McGill Symphony Orchestra and the McGill Jazz Orchestra I. Credits: Conor Nickerson Date: 01/11/2019 (Concert bénéfice)

Marzo's Latin Big Band is proud to present: Thélonius Garcia Pianist Thélonius is a pianist currently based in Montreal, who was born and raised in Paris from a Dominican father and a French mother.... He began with the Classical piano at the age of 9 at the Conservatory of Music, with classical pianist Muriel Blaisse, and moved to the jazz and improvised music when he was around 18. In Paris he studied with great jazz masters as pianist Claude Terranova, Emil Spanyi, Philippe-Baden Powell, among others. Thélonius moved to Montreal in September 2018 to pursue his jazz education at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music for a Jazz Piano performance Bachelor, where he has studied with pianists Min Rager, and Marianne Trudel.
