For now only 1 on 1 Personal Training is allowed to be offered starting February 8th and until further notice. While we don’t agree with this decision it is a step in the right direction. Mental and physical health is at an all time low, people are desperate. One must question the necessity to limit our rights. Gyms and fitness facilities have followed all government protocols, they have gone above and beyond what has been asked of them. Protocols that have been more restrictive than any shopping mall, retail store or grocery store have had to abide by. Contract tracing has shown that we provide a safe environment, science has shown the importance of physical exercise to maintain a healthy mind, body and immune system. So what’s the issue? In failing to treat everyone equally, the government has chosen winners and losers. @jkenney , enough is enough. You have failed to justify why gyms should be closed and what our future holds, communication is nonexistent. Do you expect us to just sit back and die a slow death? We guarantee you that is not an option for us. We are ESSENTIAL, all businesses are ESSENTIAL. See more
