Finished off our little stone pathway project. We used the original stones which are decades old, and looks like new now. The owner bought these pavers that didn’t work with original stones. So we improvised with what we had, overall it works I think. Thinking about a wet look finish sealer in a couple of weeks. Happy how it turned out and liked the finish look of the stones.

Installed all the stones on a mortar bed and grouted with mortar also. I feel it will last longer than sand and look better overall. Also dug down 8 around the outside where it widens out, and pour concrete to support the roadbase foundation. The owners want me to extend to the left a bit. So we prepped that today, for install tomorrow. ... And will brush in polymeric sand in the landing area where the joints are tight. Sunday we’re washing down and buffing the stone. Believe it or not, but this is going to finish a sparkling green Monday and Tuesday we’re going to landscape the garden for FREE! To say thanks for the work

So, days 3, 4 and 5 was figuring out patterns for the owner. Also started the install with cutting in. Install will be completed tomorrow. Will look great finished

Day 2 on the pathway project. Got prep in and installed brick borders with mortar so they’re nice and strong. Started on the pattern to meet the customers desire. The far patterns are drafts and haven’t been properly installed. The owner is using existing stone from the original pathway. However they have increased the width so have incorporated large pavers to make the difference. Hopefully there’s enough stone....

We got called out for a pathway that had unfortunately, been taken on by someone who didn’t know what to do. Scheduling worked out so I could start same day. Previous worker had 3 inches of sand on dirt, which is wrong in every way. Managed to dig out previous work in install 7 of Roadbase, compacted in 3 increments. (Will post pics of prep in morning)... Shoutout to BcBrick for the rapid same afternoon delivery. Will install pavers tomorrow.. Ps sorry for bad pictures. I’m trying to improve on that! See more
