Hello everyone! We are excited to announce we are now accepting appointments with past clients and those who are in pain and needing a treatment. To keep everyone safe, we are working on a reduced schedule. Since reopening, we have added an even more thorough cleaning protocols to our already robust regimen. We will be wearing a mask during treatment and in the main areas of our office, and we are also asking that clients do the same. If you have a cloth mask you can bring fr...om home, that would work perfectly. If not, we have cloth and paper masks available. We are also switching our online booking and note taking to a new program and going paperless. We are sharing our new booking link here first, and will update the website in the following days. COVID 19 & Massage Therapy Update - May 28, 2020 First of all we would like to thank all our valued clients for their patience and support over the last two months. These have been confusing times and we would like to clarify as much as we can about the announcement made yesterday and how it pertains to Ki Massage. On Wednesday, May 27th the Ontario Government and the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health have provided a new directive for Regulated Health Professionals that... allow for a gradual restart of services to be carried out with adherence to guidance from each health profession’s regulatory college. The directive includes Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) under the guidance of our College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). We want to clarify that this announcement was a general statement which means not all Regulated Health Professionals will be opening at the same time or at the same rate (or at all, for now). The CMTO encourages limiting the number of in-person visits by prioritizing clients with essential care needs. Our first priority as Massage Therapists is to the health and safety of ourselves, our families and our clients and to ensure that the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. We have just begun to receive direction on practices and procedure guidelines that will need to be put in place before we can open safely. These include, but are not limited to, the pre-screening of clients before every treatment, increased frequency of handwashing & cleaning practices, increased signage, documentation and record keeping of practices, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks for myself and clients and additional health & safety training. Please remain patient as implementation of these guidelines and the obtaining of sufficient PPE due to shortages can be a lengthy process. As we have stated before, the health & safety of ourselves, our families and all of our clients is our top priority. We are anticipating a return date of June 8th, and will be in contact with you soon to assess your treatment needs. Thank you again for all of your support during this time. Hi everyone, We hope everyone has been staying safe and doing well during these difficult times. Firstly, we want to take a moment to thank every one of you for doing your part during this pandemic. Whether that means continuing to work an essential job, or staying home from a non-essential post, or practicing proper hand washing and keeping your distance. Thank you, so much. You make us very proud to be part of the wonderful Sarnia-Lambton community.... Three weeks ago, we had hoped that it would be safe to reopen our doors by April 6th, but unfortunately that is not the case. In order to keep our patients safe, we are waiting until the government gives us a date for when it is advised to continue working with the public. It has been very tough for us to not be able to provide all of our patients with the quality care and treatment that we are accustomed to. Please know that it is absolutely with your best interest in mind that we stay out of operation. When the government deems it safe to do so, we will be resuming clinic activities and continuing to provide massage therapy treatment. We are awaiting this moment very eagerly, and will probably be seen shouting from rooftops with excitement when that day finally arrives. In order to make that day a reality sooner, everyone at Ki Massage is practicing physical distancing by staying home, washing our hands regularly, and only leaving the house for essentials. We do these things to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and of course to make sure we can be back in the office with our patients as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone for having such great patience in these times.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to reach out and help everyone in the community. If you can donate, check out what time and day the volunteers are in your area. All you have to do is leave the canned goods on your porch with your porch light on. We will all get through this together!

Hello everyone, Due to massage therapy not being an essential service, and for the well being of our patients, we have decided to close our office until April 6th. All currently booked appointments will be rescheduled until April 6th and beyond. This decision was not easy, but know it was made with our patient's best interest in mind, and that we are doing our part to help diminish this world crisis....
